B Ray
B Ray (Trần Thiện Thanh Bảo) is a rapper born in Ho Chi Minh City, one of the veteran figures of Vietnamese rap who emerged from the underground community. He stands out for his direct, emotional lyric writing and his ability to blend rap with pop melodies seamlessly.
Career story
B Ray started writing rap at the age of 14, switched to Vietnamese-language rap around late 2012 and became widely known in the underground scene from 2013. In 2015 he and Young H released the mixtape 'Ếch và Báo', his first mark on the market.
He achieved wide reach with a string of hit collaborations with Masew and Amee such as 'Ex's Hate Me' (surpassing 100 million YouTube views), 'Do For Love' and 'Anh Nhà Ở Đâu Thế?'. In 2020, B Ray released the seven-track album 'Loser2Lover'.
As a coach, he sat on the panel of Rap Việt season 3 (2023) and season 4 (2024), mentoring a generation of young rappers. In 2025 he took part in Anh Trai Say Hi season 2, finishing fourth overall and becoming a member of the Anh trai 'Best 5' group.
Babyface Entertainment, a Vietnam casting agency since 2009, helps brands, agencies and production houses book B Ray for commercials, TVCs, key-visual shoots, events and KOL campaigns, working through the artist’s management to confirm availability and fees.
