Bảo Thanh

Bảo Thanh (real name Vũ Thị Phương Thanh) was born in Bắc Giang and studied at the Hanoi Academy of Theatre and Cinema. She began her career in 2000 with the feature film “Vào Nam ra Bắc” and the very next year won Best Supporting Actress at the 13th Vietnam Film Festival.

She worked at the Tuổi Trẻ Theatre, appeared in many television series, and in 2014 received the Cánh diều (Golden Kite) award for Best Leading Actress in a television drama. Between 2017 and 2019, her roles in “Sống chung với mẹ chồng”, “Người phán xử” and “Về nhà đi con” drew particular attention from television audiences, along with two VTV Awards and the Outstanding Vietnamese Artist award at the Asia Artist Awards 2019.

She also appeared in the feature film “Đôi mắt âm dương” (2020) and in many stage productions.

Babyface Entertainment, a Vietnam casting agency since 2009, helps brands, agencies and production houses book Bảo Thanh for commercials, TVCs, key-visual shoots, events and KOL campaigns, working through the artist’s management to confirm availability and fees.

Bảo Thanh received her first award as a child: Best Supporting Actress at the 13th Vietnam Film Festival for the role of little Nụ in “Vào Nam ra Bắc”. She was later honored in the television category at Cánh diều 2014 (“Người chồng điên”), twice won Impressive Actress at the VTV Awards in 2017 and 2019, and received the Outstanding Vietnamese Artist award at the Asia Artist Awards 2019, held in Hanoi.
