Career story
Bình Trọng was born in 1973 in Hanoi, the son of NSND (People's Artist) Trần Nhượng. He began acting in films at about 5 years old, later studied at the Hanoi University of Culture and worked as an assistant director while still a student, occasionally taking roles when a production was short of cast.
His comedic roles in Gặp nhau cuối tuần (2000–2007), Gặp nhau cuối năm and television series such as Bác Cả người sung sướng... (2002) and Gió làng Kình (2008) built his familiar image with audiences. From 2011 he directed and acted in the series Đại gia chân đất (14 instalments as of 2024), followed by Làng ế vợ (10 instalments from 2015 to 2024).
He also founded and runs the Bình Minh film studio.
Babyface Entertainment, a Vietnam casting agency since 2009, helps brands, agencies and production houses book Bình Trọng for commercials, TVCs, key-visual shoots, events and KOL campaigns, working through the artist’s management to confirm availability and fees.
