Hương Lan

Hương Lan was born in Saigon, the daughter of cải lương artist Hữu Phước, and first went on stage at the age of five in the play "Thiếu phụ Nam Xương". From 1966 she moved into tân nhạc (modern Vietnamese music) under the guidance of composer Trúc Phương, while still performing cải lương with troupes such as Kim Chung.

In 1983 she joined Paris By Night and became a principal voice of Thúy Nga throughout the 1980s, with albums such as "Hát cho một thời để yêu" (1983) and "Khi đã yêu" (1989). From the mid-1990s she returned to perform in Vietnam and staged the liveshow "Ơn đời một khúc dân ca" in 2009.

In 2023 she took part in Ca sĩ mặt nạ (The Masked Singer Vietnam) season 2 as the character Cú Tây Bắc and finished third overall.

Babyface Entertainment, a Vietnam casting agency since 2009, helps brands, agencies and production houses book Hương Lan for commercials, TVCs, key-visual shoots, events and KOL campaigns, working through the artist’s management to confirm availability and fees.

Veteran singer Hương Lan surprised audiences by joining The Masked Singer Vietnam – Ca sĩ mặt nạ season 2 as the mascot Cú Tây Bắc. At the final in December 2023, she took third place with 24.3% of the audience vote.
