Khánh Ly

Khánh Ly was born in Hanoi, won second prize in a children's singer competition in Saigon in 1956, and began singing professionally at music lounges in Saigon and Đà Lạt from 1962. From 1967 she performed with composer Trịnh Công Sơn, mainly on university campuses, and recorded the tape series Hát cho quê hương Việt Nam (1971–1973).

The album Diễm Xưa was released in Japan in 1970; she later recorded for the Nippon Columbia label (1979) and founded the label Khánh Ly Productions (1985). From 1986 to 2011 she appeared in the Paris By Night series by Thúy Nga.

In 2012 she held a concert celebrating 50 years of singing, and from 2014 she has given concerts in Vietnam.

Babyface Entertainment, a Vietnam casting agency since 2009, helps brands, agencies and production houses book Khánh Ly for commercials, TVCs, key-visual shoots, events and KOL campaigns, working through the artist’s management to confirm availability and fees.

Khánh Ly began her singing career in 1956 when, at just 11 years old, she won second prize in a children's singer selection contest organised by Radio France-Asie in Saigon.
