Phương Thúy
Mai Phương Thúy is a model, actress and Miss Vietnam 2006. She represented Vietnam at Miss World 2006 and reached the Top 17. After her reign she continued modelling, acted in television series and has judged many major beauty pageants.
Career story
Mai Phương Thúy was born in 1988 in Hanoi, attended Phan Đình Phùng High School and was admitted to the Business Administration programme at the Foreign Trade University in 2006. She began modelling during the summer holiday of 11th grade when she joined the modelling agency New Talent.
In 2006 she was crowned Miss Vietnam, then competed at Miss World 2006 and reached the Top 17 as the contestant voted most popular by audiences in the Asia-Pacific region. After her win she studied at RMIT University Vietnam, worked as a brand ambassador from 2007 and made the DVD "Hoa đồng nội" (2008).
She played the female lead in the television series "Âm tính" (2009), appeared in "Thời cơ" (2017), and was a judge at Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 and 2017 and Miss World Vietnam 2019.
Babyface Entertainment, a Vietnam casting agency since 2009, helps brands, agencies and production houses book Mai Phương Thúy for commercials, TVCs, key-visual shoots, events and KOL campaigns, working through the artist’s management to confirm availability and fees.
