Career story

Mỹ Linh entered the Hanoi Conservatory's vocal programme with the top score in 1993 and made her professional debut in October 1993 at the national pop music festival in Đà Nẵng with the song 'Thì thầm mùa xuân', winning second prize and the impressive young singer award. In the late 1990s she made her mark with a run of songs such as 'Chị tôi', 'Tóc ngắn', 'Hương ngọc lan' and 'Trên đỉnh Phù Vân' and the album 'Tóc ngắn' (1998).

The albums 'Made in Vietnam' (2003), 'Chat với Mozart' (2005), 'Tóc ngắn Acoustic: Một ngày' (2011) and 'Chat với Mozart II' (2018) show an experimental spirit, combining folk, classical and acoustic material. Off the stage, she was a coach on Giọng hát Việt (The Voice of Vietnam) season 2 (2013) and a judge on Gương mặt thân quen (Your Face Sounds Familiar) and many other talent shows.

In 2023 she took part in Chị Đẹp Đạp Gió Rẽ Sóng season 1, making the final Đạp Gió line-up, and returned for season 2 in 2024.

Babyface Entertainment, a Vietnam casting agency since 2009, helps brands, agencies and production houses book Mỹ Linh for commercials, TVCs, key-visual shoots, events and KOL campaigns, working through the artist’s management to confirm availability and fees.
