Career story

Ông Cao Thắng entered the music industry as one of the three members of Weboys, a boy band formed by songwriter-producer Quang Huy in August 2005. With Weboys, he sang on popular songs such as “Phân vân” and “Anh sẽ quay về”, and the press cited the group as one of the most successful bands of 2007.

In 2008–2010, he was among the young male singers with a large fan base. After leaving the group, he pursued a solo career with the single “Ước ao một mình tôi” (2010) and songs such as “Tình yêu và bạn” and “Nơi ấy ngọn đồi tình yêu”.

He and Đông Nhi made many joint releases, notably the duet “Nắm tay anh nhé”, released in early 2013. In March 2012, he founded Giác Quan Thứ Sáu Entertainment JSC (6th Sense Entertainment), which manages and produces for Đông Nhi, the groups LipB and Uni5, singer Han Sara and songwriters Đỗ Hiếu and Huỳnh Hiền Năng.

In 2016, he and Đông Nhi served as coaches on Giọng hát Việt nhí (The Voice Kids Vietnam), and their team's contestant Trịnh Nhật Minh won the title.

Babyface Entertainment, a Vietnam casting agency since 2009, helps brands, agencies and production houses book Ông Cao Thắng for commercials, TVCs, key-visual shoots, events and KOL campaigns, working through the artist’s management to confirm availability and fees.
