Siu Black

Siu Black was born in Kon Tum and was discovered at a singing contest by vocal teacher Linh Nga Niê Kdăm, who encouraged her to study singing. She studied for three years at the Đắk Lắk school of culture and arts, then worked for the province's song and dance troupe.

In the mid-1990s she won consecutive gold medals with the Đam San art troupe (1995, 1996), and in 1997 was honored as Outstanding Singer at an ASEAN program in Hanoi. The albums “Ly cà phê Ban Mê” (1999) and “Ru ta ngậm ngùi” (2000) spread her name widely, followed by film roles in “Em hiền như ma sơ” (2010) and “Vũ điệu đường cong” (2012).

She was a judge on Vietnam Idol (2007, 2008, 2010), took third place on Bước nhảy hoàn vũ (Dancing with the Stars Vietnam) 2010 and was a coach on the first season of Rock Việt (2022).

Babyface Entertainment, a Vietnam casting agency since 2009, helps brands, agencies and production houses book Siu Black for commercials, TVCs, key-visual shoots, events and KOL campaigns, working through the artist’s management to confirm availability and fees.

Siu Black established her Central Highlands voice in the 1990s with gold medals won for the Đam San Art Troupe in 1995 and 1996. In 1997, she won the Gold Medal at the first ASEAN Golden Voice Festival and was voted best singer in Hanoi. In 2010, she went on to make her mark in television entertainment with third place in the first season of Bước nhảy Hoàn vũ.
