Tâm Đoan
Tâm Đoan is an overseas-based singer of Vietnamese ballads (nhạc trữ tình), associated with the Vân Sơn, Thúy Nga and Asia production houses. Audiences know her from the Paris By Night stage and many ballad albums and DVDs released since the late 1990s.
Career story
Born in Bình Dương, Tâm Đoan performed from childhood in the arts troupe of the Sông Bé Children's House and studied mandolin and guitar. In late 1997, composer Tích Hà introduced her to Vân Sơn Productions; in 1998 alone she appeared in four video programmes and released her first CDs, Tấm ảnh không hồn and Chuyến tàu hoàng hôn.
In 2002 she signed an exclusive contract with Thúy Nga Productions, debuting on Paris By Night 63, and also released DVDs with Tình Production. From 2009 to 2014 she worked with Asia Productions, then returned to Thúy Nga from Paris By Night 112 (2014).
Her notable albums include Giọng ca dĩ vãng (2008), Sầu lẻ bóng (2009) and Tuyết lạnh (2010, with Đặng Thế Luân); she has also hosted a talk show under her own name.
Babyface Entertainment, a Vietnam casting agency since 2009, helps brands, agencies and production houses book Tâm Đoan for commercials, TVCs, key-visual shoots, events and KOL campaigns, working through the artist’s management to confirm availability and fees.
