Việt Hương

Việt Hương studied acting at the Theatre Arts School 2 (now the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema) and, while still a student, won a Silver Medal for Outstanding Actress at the 1995 national professional spoken-drama festival. From 1998 to 2004 she was a lead actress at Sân khấu Kịch Sài Gòn (Saigon Drama Theatre) in plays such as Nữ sinh, Hoài Thu của tôi and Sự cám dỗ dịu dàng, and she also collaborated with IDECAF Theatre.

In the early 2000s she formed her own comedy group and became a familiar face of Gala Cười. On the big screen she appeared in comedies such as Nhà có 5 nàng tiên, Cưới chạy, Tía tui là cao thủ and Xóm trọ 3D, before moving into dramatic lead roles in Chị dâu (2024) and Cục vàng của ngoại (2025).

On television she has acted in series such as Dương thế bao la sầu and hosted A-ha, Đàn ông phải thế, Chuẩn cơm mẹ nấu, Cơ hội đổi đời and Đối đầu đỉnh cao. In 2022 she returned to spoken-drama theatre and won a Gold Medal for her role as Madam Năm in the play Lạc giữa biển người.

Babyface Entertainment, a Vietnam casting agency since 2009, helps brands, agencies and production houses book Việt Hương for commercials, TVCs, key-visual shoots, events and KOL campaigns, working through the artist’s management to confirm availability and fees.

After a Silver Medal in 1995 and a Gold Medal for Outstanding Actress in 1999 on the spoken-drama stage, Việt Hương was recognised in television with the 2021 Ngôi Sao Xanh (Blue Star) Award for Dương thế bao la sầu. Her role as Hai Nhị in Chị dâu earned her Best Actress honours at the 2025 Da Nang Asian Film Festival, the 2025 Ngôi Sao Xanh Awards and the 2025 Cánh Diều Vàng (Golden Kite) Awards; in 2026 she again won Best Actress at the Da Nang Asian Film Festival for Cục vàng của ngoại.
